This "Three Minutes" epidsode focuses on those videos that have titles designed to titilate us sexually, only to click on them and discover that they're making fun of our interest in sexuality and online sexual content. There has been a rash of such videos in the wake of the Paris Hilton / Britney Spears party photos. The most popular amoung them is called "The Webcam Girl."

Three Minutes on "Lil OG G'S Up TV and The 'N-Word'"

I made this Three Minutes episode to comment on the YouTube video called "Introducing, 'Lil OG' G'S UP TV (Lil Scrappy)'. I like the video and the entertainer's work, but some will misinterpret the use of the "N-Word" and thus think it's just fine for them to call others by this. My response is for people to study the video and the use of the term. I comment on how it should be used -- for those who do say it. I don't use it at all and no one in my family does or has in the past.

Three Minutes: On "Christmas And Heather Martin"

The stark Christmas contrast between the lively singing of The Glide Choir of Glide Memorial Church in San Francisco and the song of 6-year-old Heather Martin singing the question of when her brother was coming home from the War in Iraq was so disturbing to me that it formed the basis for this episode. It's weird and unfortunate that Heather's brother is fighting in a war such that he was most likely already enlisted in the military for reasons having nothing to do with the war, and yet is fighting in the war; and his little sister begs for his return by song. On Christmas he should be at home with her not in Iraq.

Three Minutes: On "Meat Prices In Georgia"

I'm visiting my Mom outside Atlanta, GA and thought I'd make this show about the low meat prices in this area of the U.S., especially as compared to the San Francisco Bay Area. I was in the Publix market with Mom and as I was shooting this segment, a worker happened over so I asked her about the price difference. I later noticed the USA Today reported that the South is leading America in population growth, and the low cost of living is certainly one draw. Check out this episode!

Three Minutes: On "Global Warming"

I made this episode as part of an effort started by Casey McKinnon at the Yahoo! Vlogging Message Board. It's an episode that is based on a rather disturbing map of the difference over or under normal temperature of U.S Cities I found just four minutes before I started shooting this video clip. The map -- at www.weather.com -- shows that half of geographic America has cities that are over their norms. Plus, this does not mean that the other half is under. No. Actually, from this we can state that most of urban America is "warmer" this Christmas than normal. Seems like the seeds of a problem to me. Share this "Three Minutes" if only to get others to see that map! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
